Daniela Pia Trezza combines her broad legal knowledge with practical business experience to assist clients in commercial and corporate business transactions, construction, intellectual property, employment, and other business needs.   In both the for-profit and non-profit sectors, including for community associations, she has engaged in contract drafting and negotiation, employment agreements and personnel and policy manuals, confidentiality and trade secret issues, leasing and construction law, intellectual property enforcement, and general legal compliance.  Often serving in an outside general counsel capacity, she learns her clients’ businesses, identifies areas that require legal ministration, and provides efficient and effective advice and oversight on both transactional and litigation matters.

Before joining Esler & Lindie, Daniela’s practice focused on complex corporate, commercial, and intellectual property litigation.  She also worked in the arts and entertainment field as legal counsel and liaison on art, film, and theater projects.

Active in the local community, Daniela has served on several boards and foundations, including the Broward Public Library Foundation, Pine Crest School, Mattress Factory Museum, Opera Guild, and she was a co-founder of an art foundation which awarded grants and other support to young, struggling artists.  Daniela has also volunteered her time at numerous secular and religious charities and organizations including Night of Literary Feasts, Duke Alumni Association, American Cancer Society, Hereditary Neuropathy Society, and Saint Anthony’s Catholic Church.

Daniela holds a law degree cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law, where she was awarded an academic fellowship and clerked for the Honorable Joseph Nesbitt of the Third District Court of Appeal, and a bachelor of art’s degree magna cum laude from Duke University, where she competed on the Varsity Crew Team.  She is a member of the Florida and D.C. Bars.

Outside of her legal work, Daniela enjoys competing in triathlons, surfing, and learning acoustic guitar.
